We are always looking for talented and artful Interior Designers. Design Consultants and Luxury Furniture Sales Associates to serve our clientele and undertake a variety of design projects.Manage design projects from concept to completionDefine project requirements and schedule during the initial meeting or home visitInterpret and translate client needs into visional presentationSet costs and project fees according to client's budget and needsResearch and decide on product, materials and fabrics sourcingProduce sample, mood boards and presentationsSupervise work progress of projectWork closely with clients and support teamsResearch and follow industry changes, evolutions and best practicesSkills and Experience:History of exceeding sales goals in luxury retail or furniture showroom settingExpertise in layout, color, lighting, materials, fabrics, custom furniture, custom window treatments, accessories, rugs & moreExperience in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Illustrator or other design programs a plusExcellent portfolio of previous workPossess creative talent, imagination and eye for designExcellent communication and presentation skillsBS degree in Interior Design or similar preferredRequirements:Ability to make home calls to customers to provide a complete design solutionValid driver's license with a good driving record and ability to provide own transportation to and from customer's homesWillingness to work Saturdays and some holidays - no eveningsPlease provide a note with plans for relocation if you currently reside outside of the Sarasota, FL area.Norris Furniture & Interiors is an Equal Opportunity and E-Verify Employer.
