JOB TITLE :Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Before applying for this role, please read the following information about this opportunity found below.JOB DUTIES :Responsible for managing overall sales and marketing activities for the complete portfolio of solutions, including automation technology for the electric power industry, software platforms and analytics, and IT services. Specific duties include: (1) leading the development of an overall sales strategy for the electric power utility, smart cities, and manufacturing industries to increase sales revenues, and improve processes and overall business programs; (2) helping develop product pricing and positioning strategy in the marketplace; (3) driving lead generation and pipeline growth through effective marketing functions; (4) supervising the preparation, issuance, and delivery of sales materials, demonstration programs, exhibits, proposals, and promotion programs; (5) meeting and exceeding sales objectives; (6) coordinating the commercial activity with partners and supporting them with product demonstration and prospecting; (7) developing and managing sales budgets; (8) managing the Sales, Marketing, and Proposals teams.REQUIREMENTS :Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related; 5 years of sales experience of software technology, automation, smart grid software solutions, or related business selling to power utility companies; 5 years of experience managing a sales team and marketing functions; 5 years of project portfolio management for the provision of software products and software development services; understanding of the structure, decision making process, and market/regulatory influences within utility organizations. Frequent domestic travel required.
