Marketing Assistant,

you will be serving an important and distinct role within PlanMember’s Marketing team. Designed to be an entry level role leading into the Marketing Coordinator Positions. You will be supporting the Marketing team and providing quality assurance and procedural support. This is an ideal position for someone interested in getting a start in Marketing AND has a passion for the financial industry. The Marketing Assistant will help coordinate various tasks essential to supporting advisors with their marketing needs. Regular duties include tracking, routing and processing templated marketing material, coordinating the monthly winners circle communication, interacting with third party administrators, and providing support to the Marketing Coordinators.This important and distinct role within PlanMember’s Marketing team requires supporting and providing quality assurance and procedural support to various members. The ideal candidate is highly organized, flexible, and able to work independently and reliably on multiple projects within strict time frames. A demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize projects and work within a team environment is a must.This role reports directly to the AVP of Marketing, providing additional support to the FVP of Marketing, the marketing team, internal clients, and select advisors working in the field.Responsibilities

If you have the following experience, we encourage you to apply.Track and route all customized business development marketing campaign material for individual advisors, FC advisors and strategic distribution groupsTrack and route all one-off material in coordination with the associated advisor/financial centerQA campaign materialProcess monthly Winners Circle for top performing advisorsWork with TPAs to direct clients to the appropriate advisor based on employerAssist in coordinating and planning business development marketing campaignsPost updates to NewsConnect, PlanMember’s internal system to notify advisors of department related updates and new material. Assist other departments in their efforts to post.Administer and fulfill state educational and nonprofit associations conferences for FCs, including coordination of exhibition, speaking proposal submission, attendees pre and post mailings and marketing materialsMaintain database of all PlanMember advisorsAssist Marketing Coordinators in creating marketing materialsProcess orders from the PlanMember promo stores and review/recommend new materialAssist with various other activities as needed in support of PlanMember’s marketing teamQualifications
