Your Role As the Director of Marketing Automation, you will play a pivotal role in driving our marketing efforts through the strategic management of our marketing automation platform and systems. This role requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of marketing technology, system administration, and data flow. December 20, 2023Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing Automation Strategy:

Partnering with the marketing automation manager, develop and execute the overall marketing automation strategy in alignment with business objectives.Identify opportunities to leverage marketing automation for lead generation, nurturing, and customer engagement.System Administration

Oversee the administration and configuration of the marketing automation platform.Manage user roles, permissions, and access controls to ensure a secure and efficient system.Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of marketing technology infrastructure.Work closely with the digital products team and technology team to ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of the marketing automation system.Data Flow Optimization

Design and implement data flow processes to ensure accurate and consistent data integration across marketing automation and revenue systems.Monitor data quality and implement best practices for data governance.Cross-functional Collaboration

Partner with revenue teams, technology, and other departments to align marketing automation initiatives with broader business objectives.Provide training and support to ensure effective use of the marketing automation platform across teams.Reporting And Analysis

Establish and monitor KPIs to measure the success and impact of marketing automation efforts.Provide regular reports and insights to leadership on campaign performance and areas for improvement.Team Management

Coach and develop Marketing Automation Team members, ensuring they deliver against organization priorities.Manage freelance and contractor support.Qualifications

B.A./B.S. degree in a marketing, project management or communications discipline or equivalent work experience.Proven experience (minimum 12 years) in marketing automation, with a focus on system administration and infrastructure management.5+ years of leadership and management experience.In-depth knowledge of popular marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot, Eloqua).Strong understanding of data management, integration, and data flow processes.Excellent project management and communication skills.Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from data and make data-driven decisions.Required Skills, Knowledge And Abilities

Knowledge of email design (HTML, CSS) and production.Must be curious and eager to learn, demonstrating openness to feedback and coaching.Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task.Demonstrated ability to work independently, organize and accurately prioritize work, be detail-oriented, and understand when urgency is required.Ability to use sound judgment and discretion in dealing with confidential information.Enthusiasm for our mission and portfolio of programs, products, and services.Excellent written (English) communication skills and proofreading.Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.Strong project and time management skills.Strong interpersonal communication skills.Team player and ability to work effectively with multiple cross-functional groups.Quantitative and qualitative data analysis skills, with high proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Preferred Skills And Experience
