ABOUT THE ROLE:

As the Art Director, you will oversee the visual direction of the REP brand and manage the innovative output of our graphic design team, comprising two skilled designers. Your role is critical in blending high-level design execution with strategic, managerial, and technical oversight, ensuring all visual content is compelling, on-brand, and leverages cutting-edge design technologies, including AI-driven design tools. In this role, your team of Graphic Designers would execute 80% of the work and this role would execute 20% and review and provide feedback on the 80% workload completed by the graphic design team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Essential Job Functions:

Lead and manage graphic design projects from conception to completion, ensuring a high standard of visual execution across all media.

Innovate and implement AI-driven design processes to enhance creativity and efficiency within the team.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, events, commercial sales, and others, to create compelling and cohesive visual narratives.

Review, approve, and adjust designs and materials submitted by team members, ensuring all work meets or exceeds the company's creative standards.

Manage and prioritize projects, setting realistic deadlines and ensuring efficient workflow to meet project objectives and deadlines.

Stay ahead of industry trends and advancements, incorporating new ideas, especially AI and digital technologies, into team projects and workflows.

Present design concepts and final deliverables to internal and external stakeholders, articulating design vision and rationale.

Develop and maintain the visual design guidelines and ensure brand consistency across all visuals produced by the team.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role would be responsible to guide, mentor, and provide feedback on two direct reports, ensuring professional growth and high-quality design outputs.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or at least 8 years of professional design experience, with a proven track record of successful project management and team leadership.

Strong portfolio showcasing high-end design skills and creative variety across multiple platforms (digital, print, social media, etc.).

Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and familiarity with other design software. Fimga a plus.

Experience in utilizing AI design tools and software to optimize design processes and outputs.

Played a role in developing/building an in-house team
