The Center for the Study of Services (CSS)/Consumers' Checkbook team is looking for a
Marketing Coordinator
to join our team in Washington, D.C. The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for maintaining and enhancing our social media presence, email communications, and digital advertising.
The Marketing Coordinator will report to the Senior Digital Marketing & Fundraising Manager. This position will work closely with various staff across the organization. This position will be on a hybrid schedule, meaning the candidate will be
required to work in office 2 days per week
with the option to work from home up to 3 days per week. Equipment will be provided.
CSS / Consumers' Checkbook is an established nonprofit research organization based in Washington, DC with over 70 full time staff. Through our brand Checkbook, CSS provides information directly to consumers to help them find services and make important decisions about their healthcare. CSS also conducts surveys of consumers and health care providers on behalf of government agencies, national health plans, health coalitions, and medical groups. CSS is a tight knit and growing organization that prioritizes a positive work environment and rewards hard work and results.
Requirements/Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field.2+ years of experience in digital marketing or communications, will consider recent graduates with superior academic credentials.Strong writing, editing, and content creation skills.Understanding of audience segmentation, user behavior, and data-driven marketing strategies.Knowledge of HTML and content management systems like Wordpress.Video editing skills (preferred).Knowledge of marketing automation platforms like HubSpot (preferred).Previous nonprofit experience (preferred).Please see full job description for more details.
