We cross the entire spectrum of business, government, healthcare, education, and entertainment and we’re currently seeking a Broadcast Design Engineer to join our team.What You Will Be Doing : This person will be responsible for designing comprehensive Broadcast Solutions for our Enterprise Customers on a national basis. That includes Sales Engineering, Systems Design, Workflow development, System Commissioning, Acceptance Testing, End user training.PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS :At least (3) years’ experience in an A/V technical position or live production technical environment.Experience in broadcast/TV/control room setting for live events.Experience with Government production – town halls, city hall productions, judicial.Have a strong working knowledge of broadcast signal workflow, signal types and possess strong signal pathway diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.Knowledge of Broadcast Industry standards and technologies.Experience with IP-based video transport technologies and networking protocols.Experience with control and automation systems.Current with industry trends, best practices in Broadcast and AV Technologies.Ability to work independently, be self-directed and make sound decisions based on customer satisfaction.Communication and customer relation skills.Ability and willingness to travel to customer sites.Any key Broadcast and/or AV industry certifications are a plus.Knowledge and ability to design broadcast systems spanning multiple standards and protocols (SDI, NDI, SMPTE2110, Dante, AES67, ETC).Experience in designing and deploying shared editing storage and asset management solutions.Experience as a Technical Director or EIC role for production is a plus.Ability to design, program and configure various switching, replay, routing, intercom and audio solutions for broadcast.Experience in VR, AR and XR system Design a plus.Experience in Sports and eSports broadcasting a plus.Experience in General AV Design a plus.Network Certifications a plus.Software, cloud, remote, and file-based production workflows.AutoCAD a plus.IP Network Design and/or IP Network Provisioning specific to AV and Broadcast applications.Ability and willingness to travel nationally to customer sites.Remote Position.Why Should You Apply?Our customers consider us an active partner in their planning and strategy, as we are on the cutting edge of where the market is headed.
