Shoreline Community College’s International Education department is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of International Marketing and Engagement Manager. Reporting to the Associate Vice President of International Education and Global Engagement and working closely with the Outreach team and other areas of the department, this multifaceted position is integral to advancing the College’s global outreach efforts to recruit students from around the world, leading digital media strategies, managing the Slate CRM system, and coordinating social media engagement initiatives. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing the reputation of Shoreline Community College on the global stage.

Primary responsibilities include the following:Develop and execute IE’s marketing strategy and plans to promote Shoreline Community College’s international programs and initiatives, targeting prospective international students and partners.Collaborate with vendors to produce brochures and other marketing collateral, both paper and digital.Manage the Slate Customer Relationship Management system, including executing communication campaigns, segmentation, and campaign tracking to optimize recruitment and retention efforts.Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to marketing, CRM usage, social media engagement, and outreach activities, using insights to continuously optimize strategies and achieve departmental goals.Create and implement IE’s social media plan with the active assistance of approximately 8 international student ambassadors.Supervise student employees, providing guidance, training, and support in executing social media campaigns, blog posts, live chats, and other outreach activities to engage prospective students and showcase the College’s vibrant communities, highlighting student experiences, cultural events, academic opportunities, and campus life.Coordinate campus visits, summer programs, and virtual events for prospective international students and delegations from partner institutions, ensuring a welcoming and informative experience that highlights Shoreline Community College's strengths and offerings.Work closely with administrative assistant to ensure smooth and streamlined communication and coordination within outreach team and with other areas of the department.Collaborate with the College’s communication team to ensure alignment of messaging and branding across various channels.Assist with other departmental initiatives and projects as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to the overall mission and values of Shoreline Community College.Other duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, international relations or related field OR equivalent combination of education/experience (example: related associate's degree WITH 2 years of experience in marketing, sales, CRM, or related field).Experience with marketing strategy, social media management, and project management.Experience with visual media, design, and video production using software such as Adobe Illustrator, Dreamweaver, InDesign, Premiere, Audition, and Aftereffects.

Knowledge of:Current trends in social media, especially as used by traditional college-age demographics.Customer relationship management systems, social media platforms, tools that analyze data, and systems for managing website content.Photography, videography and developing engaging print/web media.Techniques for effective presentations and communication in a multicultural environment.Microsoft Office skills, Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, and Teams applications.

Skill in:Project management to effectively coordinate programs and initiatives.Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.Cross-cultural competency and sensitivity in support of promoting global education and intercultural understanding.Data analysis.English language proficiency, including the ability to read, write, and speak effectively to diverse audiences.

Physical Work Environment:The College is currently providing services in a mixed modality of operations (both online and in-person services are offered). Administrators are assigned to work on campus, noting there may be some opportunities to work remotely based on program or area needs. If authorized for limited remote work, employees will need to provide their own workspace and internet access, noting the College will provide technical equipment and support for online work needs. When working on-campus, this position will perform work in a standard office setting, use standard office equipment and physically attend meetings both on and off campus, using the ability to communicate in person or through appropriate means. This position also works weekends and evenings when appropriate or needed is required.

Terms of Employment/Salary:This is a full-time administrative/exempt annually contracted position with initial salary placement determined by the College dependent upon education/experience. Hiring of this position is contingent upon available funding as determined by the College President.
