The PositionCampbell & Company seeks an individual for a Senior Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Marketing Specialist position based in our Chicago or Seattle locations. The Senior CRM Marketing Specialist will work closely with individual consultants and service/sector/geographic teams and will be responsible for developing and implementing client-centric campaigns to drive new business opportunities and acquisition strategies in line with the firm’s objectives.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing Communications, the Senior CRM Marketing Specialist will be responsible for helping to support and implement a marketing and business development strategy for the firm and collaborate with individual consultants to manage the sales process in bringing in new clients.

ResponsibilitiesThe Senior CRM Marketing Specialist will have the following responsibilities:Marketing Communications and Campaign Management

Develop and execute CRM marketing strategies to drive client acquisition, retention, and stewardship.Collaborate with the team to implement automated marketing campaigns utilizing Salesforce and HubSpot (or other marketing automation tools) to nurture leads and clients throughout their lifecycle.Analyze client data and behavior to identify opportunities for personalized marketing and advertising campaigns.Write compelling and effective content for campaigns, newsletters, blog posts, and other communication channels.Monitor and report on campaign performance, providing insights, and recommendations for continuous improvement.Other marketing duties as assigned.

Collaborate with Business Developers

Collaborate with service line teams (fundraising, communications, executive search, and strategic information services) to understand their needs and ensure CRM strategies align with overall business goals.Collaborate cross-functionally with business developers and the MBD team to contribute to proposal development, ensuring proposals are persuasive, accurate, and tailored to client needs.Collaborate with the Senior Vice President, Fundraising, to develop and implement workflows, automation, and lead management processes that support the service line teams in identifying and nurturing new business opportunities.Provide ongoing training and support to business developers on leading practices for using Salesforce.

Platform Ownership and Continuous Improvement

Manage and maintain the HubSpot and Salesforce platforms, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.Optimize CRM processes and procedures to improve internal efficiency and effectiveness.Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in CRM and customer lifecycle management, and continuously seek ways to enhance user experience and improve platform adoption.

The successful candidate will have at least 3-5 years of experience in CRM marketing or advertising within a marketing and business development team. In addition, the successful candidate will possess the following:Strong understanding of CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and marketing automation systems (e.g., HubSpot, MailChimp, Constant Contact, etc.) and best practices.Proficient in customer segmentation, digital marketing strategies, and data analysis tools.Creative and critical thinking skills, i.e., the ability to apply reasoning and logic to new or unfamiliar ideas, opinions, and situations.Demonstrated success in time and project management skills, with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet multiple project deadlines and tight timelines.Demonstrated success in taking ownership of tasks and seeing them through execution with little hands-on direction. A team-based, collaborative work style with an ability to work independently and with a sense of urgency.Exceptional attention to detail.Exceptional verbal and written communications skills.Analytical and data-driven.A bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in digital marketing, communications, or a related discipline is preferred.For this position, candidates are required to be based in either Chicago or Seattle, with preference given to candidates based in the Seattle area.Compensation and Benefits:The salary range for this position is $80,000-$84,000 per year.
