In this role, you will coordinate and manage projects, ensuring completion to support the various business/departments.Responsibilities:Designs various types of structures, machines, and components across multiple projects.Operates Solidworks CAD program to produce engineering drawings including, but not limited to, structural steel, piping isometrics, equipment, fabrication, and layout drawings.Creates 3D models, 3D assemblies and 2D drawings in solidworks and SMAP piping software.Utilizes and helps to maintain the drawing vault software, PDM.Oversees contractors, vendors regarding work to be performed to ensure it is being done as required.Reviews and redlines vendor drawings.Investigates on-site work and progress that pertains to work that needs to be done.Performs field measurements in order to produce accurate drawings and to validate drawings after construction.Maintains inter-plant relations and determines/understands the needs of other departments.Works with others within the engineering team regarding issues relating to the various projects.Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.Maintains compliance with all company policies and procedures.Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:Position requires between 5-7 years of CAD experience; priority will be given to candidates with solidworks experience.General understanding of technical drawings.Technical education and learning experience in engineering and design.Work requires the application of a variety of procedures, policies and/or precedents used in combination. Frequently, the application of multiple technical activities are employed; thus analytic ability and intuitive thinking are required.Ability to address constant changes in technology and software, resulting in the redesign of existing systems and/or the need to develop new ones.Engineering design experience in the manufacturing field is required.Up to 35% travel is required.Experience with International Building Code is a plus.Work Life Balance Eligibility:Hybrid Working 2-3 days per week in office.
