DarkStar Intelligence is seeking a highly qualified Senior Distance/E-Learning Instructional Systems Design Specialist to support our client's mission in Washington, DC. This position is on-site and requires an active TS/SCI clearance with a Counterintelligence Polygraph.

Primary Duties And ResponsibilitiesProvide e-learning instructional systems design services to create blended and online courseware or templates for virtual classroom environments.Apply knowledge of education principles, distance learning concepts, graphic design, and electronic teaching techniques to determine subject matter, goals, length, approach, and instructional media most effective in meeting customer requirements.Utilize the ADDIE instructional systems design process to develop instructional/design plans, storyboards, and final e-learning products.Test courseware products within the learning management system (LMS) test environment to ensure quality and functionality.Demonstrate practical knowledge and expertise with Blackboard, Captivate, or other appropriate e-learning platforms and applications.Stay informed about current developments in learning management systems and adult education trends to continuously enhance instructional design and delivery.Minimum QualificationsActive Top Secret/SCI Clearance with Counterintelligence Polygraph.A minimum of six (6) years of experience in instructional design processes and terminology related to distance/e-learning, without an appropriate degree, or a Master's degree in an appropriate field (e.g., Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Adult Learning/Andragogy) from an accredited college or university and at least two (2) years of experience working with distance/e-learning training programs.Practical-level knowledge and expertise with instructional design, distance/e-learning platforms, and associated technologies.
