Read on to fully understand what this job requires in terms of skills and experience If you are a good match, make an application.The Associate Director of Marketing and Communications develops, implements, and manages the marketing and communications strategic plan for The Nature Conservancy's Leveraging our Lands program. This position will report to the Director, North America Activation and Integration with a dotted line to the Director, Leveraging our Lands. This is a 3-year term position, with potential for renewal.

The Associate Director will develop and implement a multi-year strategic marketing and communications plan designed to deepen supporter engagement and generate brand awareness and revenue via preserve visitation. Responsibilities include:Developing a multi-year strategic marketing and communications plan as well as a structure for decision-making surrounding TNC's Leveraging our Lands initiative.Developing and measuring KPIs to track audience engagement, awareness, revenue, and membership via preserve visitation.Managing the Leveraging our Lands marketing and communications budget and creating reports for funders.Implementing the strategic marketing and communications plan and making strategic recommendations for adjustments based on tracking KPIs tied to key results/interim milestones.Creating online web content, digital promotions, email outreach, and social media engagement campaigns that are replicable across TNC.Organizing, managing, and coordinating diverse projects and activities with many variables, including managing the tracking, reporting, and analysis of digital performance data.Coordinating with key internal and external stakeholders.Resolving complex issues independently within program area with counsel from the Director of Leveraging Our Lands and Director of North America Activation and Integration.Ensuring adherence to brand principles and alignment with global development priorities.Overseeing contractors as needed.Assisting with creation/administration of budget, evaluating results, and developing corrective strategies as needed.Meeting strategic goals and objectives, and managing one or more professional staff accountable for achievement of team business and professional development goals and objectives.Influencing without authority and traveling for business meetings, team retreats, and/or professional development.WE'RE LOOKING FOR YOUThe ideal candidate will have all or some of these qualifications.
