Senior Art Director, Brand Design - Beats Beats is seeking a Senior Art Director, with a strong design background to join the Marketing Brand Design team. They will be a leading creative voice on talent-led campaigns across all stages of development and production. In addition, they will lead the art and design direction for all evergreen assets for Beats. From concept through production, this includes all lifestyle photography, all product key visuals, all retail toolkits, and several product-education videos, that will serve to educate and inspire customers about our latest products. This person will be a vocal leader in maintaining and advancing the overall creative and design aesthetic of the brand. This person will need to have a strong sense of sports and entertainment culture, strategy, art direction, design, photography, styling, and production experience. The role requires a strong understanding of performance marketing and ability to incorporate key findings effectively. They must excel at building relationships internally and externally, be comfortable and persuasive when presenting to senior leadership, and engaged with mentoring other members of the team. This role will be expected to handle multiple projects at once and deliver excellence in every facet of each.

Gather cross-functional alignment and present concepts to leadership. Oversee pre-production and production of all creative aspects in collaboration with production teams and external partners across all formats and deliverables. Art direct Tier 0 talent photo shoots. Contribute to the overall creative push and advancement of the Beats design-aesthetic. Stay up-to-date on cultural and design trends as well as potential creative partners who are pushing the look and capabilities of what’s current. Cultivate team growth through mentorship and leading by example.Minimum QualificationsProven ability to art direct exceptional photo shoots with Tier 0 talent as well as lifestyle models and product-only shoots. Portfolio examples required.Possess extensive knowledge and understanding of: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Keynote.Preferred Qualifications7+ years of significant experience in-house or at a creative agency.Experience leading photo shoots, video shoots, and all associated pre-production components.Experience managing and delivering multiple projects in parallel.Strong ability to incorporate outside functional expertise, consumer insights research, and performance data into your creative solutions.Highly collaborative and team-oriented approach, with experience in a fast-paced and cross-functional focused environment.Finger on the pulse of current design and youth culture trends including: graphic and motion design, photography, music, sports, art, and fashion.Ability to recommend current and emerging creative partners who are top of their respective fields.Hands-on creative who is willing to make as well as lead projects.Passion for the brand and for contributing to great creative work.Strong familiarity and understanding of video editing, After Effects, and Cinema 4D software are all pluses.Apple is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.
