In this vital role you will lead Amgen’s obesity brand development in the cardiovascular space, to make a meaningful impact to people living with obesity and obesity-related conditions. Through deep understanding of customers and treatment paradigms, alongside a diverse cross-functional team from early development through launch, you will build a brand strategy and craft experiences to maximize impact at launch.Responsibilities:Leading the execution of launch and commercialization activities, focusing on global and priority markets

Developing deep customer understanding and building comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with overall business objectives, to build a comprehensive brand plan for launch across markets

Leading cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize key initiatives and opportunities for the brand and drive their successful execution

Representing commercial interests on Research Project Teams

Foster ongoing insights development by partnering internally and externally and using this to drive critical strategic choices for the brand

Collaborating with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, to ensure alignment and support for the brand

Monitoring and analyzing market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments to inform and adjust the strategy as needed

Representing the company at industry events and conferences and build relationships with key opinion leaders and other external stakeholders

Facilitating quality and timely cross regional product specific knowledge and best practice sharing

Managing global marketing budget in support of the above

WinWhat we expect of youWe are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. The professional we seek is a leader with these qualifications.Basic Qualifications:Doctorate degree & 6 years of marketing experience OR

Master’s degree & 10 years of marketing experience OR

Bachelor’s degree & 12 years of marketing experience AND

6 years of managerial experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs or directing the allocation of resources

Preferred Qualifications:Experience in strategic marketing roles up to Head of Marketing / Portfolio leadership level in Global or US roles

Current or prior experience within obesity, diabetes, or cardiovascular space is required

Ability to leverage customer knowledge to enable decision-making and prioritization of investment

Leadership abilities and experience managing teams, with the capability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Brand launch experience, global or US, is preferred

The annual base salary range for this opportunity in the U.S. is $261,730 to $299,705.
