What you will do

Lets do this. Lets change the world. In this vital role you will lead Amgens obesity brand development in the cardiovascular space, to make a meaningful impact to people living with obesity and obesity-related conditions. Through deep understanding of customers and treatment paradigms, alongside a diverse cross-functional team from early development through launch, you will build a brand strategy and craft experiences to maximize impact at launch.

Responsibilities:Leading the execution of launch and commercialization activities, focusing on global and priority marketsDeveloping deep customer understanding and building comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with overall business objectives, to build a comprehensive brand plan for launch across marketsLeading cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize key initiatives and opportunities for the brand and drive their successful executionRepresenting commercial interests on Research Project TeamsFoster ongoing insights development by partnering internally and externally and using this to drive critical strategic choices for the brandCollaborating with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, to ensure alignment and support for the brandMonitoring and analyzing market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments to inform and adjust the strategy as neededRepresenting the company at industry events and conferences and build relationships with key opinion leaders and other external stakeholdersFacilitating quality and timely cross regional product specific knowledge and best practice sharingManaging global marketing budget in support of the aboveWin

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree & 6 years of marketing experience ORMasters degree & 10 years of marketing experience ORBachelors degree & 12 years of marketing experience AND6 years of managerial experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs or directing the allocation of resourcesPreferred Qualifications:

Experience in strategic marketing roles up to Head of Marketing / Portfolio leadership level in Global or US rolesCurrent or prior experience within obesity, diabetes, or cardiovascular space is requiredAbility to leverage customer knowledge to enable decision-making and prioritization of investmentLeadership abilities and experience managing teams, with the capability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teamsBrand launch experience, global or US, is preferredThrive

The annual base salary range for this opportunity in the U.S. is $261,730 to $299,705.
