Summary:
The Conflict Center is seeking a Communications and Operations Manager. Your job is to work with the development staff and program team to support fundraising efforts and overall promotional strategy. This position is also a key part in evaluation and operational processes. This is a hybrid position, typical schedule is two days in the office, three days at home.

Marketing:
Collaborate with TCC program and administrative leadership to develop an overall agency strategy for communications, public-relations and marketing efforts.Conduct market research (service characteristics, pricing, and advertising) to stay current on new marketing strategies.Maintain updated print materials, website and class information.Establish a regular communication strategy, including strategy around social media analytics to reach our intended audience. Platforms include Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram and other community platforms that may serve our organization’s needs. Work with the Development team on implementation and scheduling.Create and send regular emails (newsletter, special events, etc) to keep followers engaged and up to date. Grow our email list organically.Assist fund development and program staff with the promotion of TCC’s special events, annual report, fundraising appeals and educational programming.Capture and share programming success stories (including client stories and/or vignettes).Turn data into easily-digestible, marketable statistics and blurbsEngage a regular Marketing committeeCreative Design
Design flyers, posters, business collateral, online graphics, event graphics, etc. adhering to the brand guidelines for consistency, e.g. fonts, colors, logo, overall design elements, responsive, well writtenEstablish consistent resource development, envisioning and creating visually appealing, practical resources in alignment with TCC branding (downloadable content, blogs, transforming resources, email blasts, etc.)Innovate new ideas for design and content creation using your expertise and eye for great designOperations
Work alongside development associate and administrative staff to identify and assist with process and communication improvementsServe as main point-of-contact for building tenants and oversee building management logistics, in coordination with offsite building management companyMaintain building administrative logistics, such as community room scheduling and security door codesSupport administrative operational tasks as neededEvaluation
Support data, evaluation and analysis practices for The Conflict Center in partnership with program staffIdentify measurable goals to calculate communication engagement, and assist in the creation of evaluation strategies that measure these goals.Expand and tailor data sharing to instructors, funders, and other stakeholdersCreate ongoing data snapshots that are easily accessible to grant writers and program staffQualifications
Strong written and verbal communication skills.Backend website navigation preferred (adding classes, editing text, managing registrations, setting changes)Coordinates projects to accomplish objectives with timeliness and creativity.Fluidly pivot between a strategic and operational mindset.Promotes team efficiency, organization and accountability.Observes, creates and refines organizational processes.Resourceful with limited budget.Bilingual (English and Spanish) for written communications strongly desired (recognition of this additional skill reflected in compensation)Skills You Have

The salary range for this position is $58,000 – $64,000. This is a salaried position based on a 40-hour workweek with occasional weekend hours. This is a hybrid position, typical schedule is two days in the office, three days at home. The Conflict Center’s current benefits package includes $500 monthly stipend towards health insurance (three options to choose from from Kaiser Permanente plus dental care and vision), 401(k) retirement plan with employer match up to 3% of salary, generous paid vacation, sick and holiday leave, paid volunteer time off and professional development opportunities.Application Procedure
