With our historic growth, it is an exciting time to join our team of employee-owners.This opportunity entails being responsible for developing design solutions for a variety of projects and coordinating the design through all project phases – conceptual design through project opening. This position includes establishing the overall design direction, developing interior design concepts, participating in client presentations, collaborating with others through internal design workshops, and preparing documents during the project’s design development through construction phases to ensure that the design vision is executed. Assists in the development of the interior design concepts, leading the development of 2D and 3D graphics, presentations, furniture design, and other collateral to convey design ideas to the client and project team.What You'll Do:Assists with architectural documentation and develops 3D concepts. Lead designer on small to medium-sized projects, or limited scope of a larger project.Plans and conducts tasks requiring independent judgment in the analysis of design, planning, programming studies, and design layouts.Takes initiative on tactical and strategic issues for space planning options or design direction. Brings forward new ideas and methods.Confers with other interior designers, architects, and engineers for the purpose of explaining and interpreting interior design standards, codes, and regulations.Assists in the preparation of project specifications compiling and analyzing relevant data.Prepares presentations and keeps others informed.Assists with material and color selection.Assists with furniture selection, layouts, and specification.Task lead on small to medium-sized projects, or limited scope of a larger project.Responsible for communication with project team, consultants, and clients on small to medium-sized projects.Works independently to achieve project goals, milestones, and deliverables with oversight from senior team members.Provides mentoring to less experienced team members relative to projects and career development.Participates in quality implementation plans, including scheduling for QC reviews and compiling comments in project documents.Supports business development efforts under the supervision of senior team members.Responsive to client budgets, able to assist value engineering efforts with client and contractor.Performs other duties as assigned.What You'll Need:Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or Interior Design and 8 years of relevant experience.RA/RIDWhat You'll Bring:Revit skillsAdditional Information:Click here for benefits information: HNTB Total RewardsClick here to learn more about EOE including disability and vet.Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.Locations:Kansas City, MO, Los Angeles, CA (Figueroa Street)The approximate pay range for Los Angeles Metro Area and Orange County, CA is $105,071.01 - $164,341.84. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
