The Director, Program Marketing is charged with the development, planning, and execution of results-oriented, integrated, strategic marketing programs aimed at maximizing program awareness, engagement, and revenue through a variety of owned, earned, and paid channels. We welcome you to join us in building your career, as we build a stronger community.Key areas of responsibility:Vision & StrategyIn partnership with CMO, lead the brand strategy and integrated marketing and communications operations to drive key revenue and attendance streams, participant and donor engagement, and comprehensive user experience.In partnership with CMO and Assistant Director, Creative Services, serve as a champion for the JCC Chicago brand and sub-brands to ensure all marketplace communications across the agency are aligned with JCC Chicago’s brand positioning.Recognize and embrace overarching agency goals and areas of focus, and align marketing and communications efforts accordingly.Program MarketingWorking with the CMO, translate organizational priorities into campaigns and demand generation strategies across owned, earned, and paid channels. These include both traditional and emerging paid channels: print, digital, broadcast, paid search, social media, and mobile. Plans for earned and owned channels should include web, social, SEO, email marketing, and external communications.Develop, plan, execute, and evaluate advertising, direct mail, digital, and promotional activity action plans and performance metrics, utilizing insights to inform our department’s work and ensure program awareness, engagement, and registration goals are met.Utilize passion for writing and telling stories to articulate the value proposition of all JCC Chicago brands, creating engaging, on-brand copy that resonates with customers and the community and drives results.Utilize strong project management skills to prioritize and manage Program Marketing job requests and manage expectations appropriately.Utilize robust proficiency in leading social media campaigns and strategy to help reimagine and grow engagement on social channels.Oversee marketing strategy of all camp and early childhood programming to build the brands and continually reach new and current families through multi-channel initiatives, including digital marketing and robust email campaigns.Working with the CMO, create agency-wide crisis communication and public relations strategies, and implement these to advance and protect organization reputation.Serve as marketing lead for development projects and other key areas, working across departments to fulfill all marketing and communications needs.Oversee strategy and execution of day-to-day communication channels for agency, including email, website, social media, and newsletters.Demonstrate an ability to inspire the team and bring fresh ideas to messaging and marketing campaigns.Key Essential Job Duties/Physical Duties:

This is a hybrid role.Job Category:ManagementEducation Qualifications:A bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Advertising, or related field.Previous Experience:8+ years of marketing experience, with proven success in the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels - marketing communications and promotional programs, public relations, brand building.Previous success managing simultaneous projects, budgets and deadlines with ability to plan, achieve and evaluate results individually and through others.Other Requirements:Ability to demonstrate and lead with JCC Chicago’s Four Core Values: Self-Leadership and Accountability, Creativity and Innovation, Teamwork and Collaboration, and Customer Service.Ability to foster and maintain positive relationships with staff and colleagues across the agency.Passion for building and growing community.Strategic thinking; must demonstrate the ability to take a wide view. Need to be open to new ideas, adventurous and practical simultaneously.Flexibility; need to be adaptable, open to taking on more and have the ability to adapt plans and direction as the business indicates.Entrepreneurial spirit; must be able to deal with ambiguity, willing to challenge the status quo and take appropriate risks as needed.Knowledge of artwork development, media, PR, Social, Digital and advertising processes.Demonstrated ability to work with limited resources while still being creative and effective.Ability to prioritize work, use good judgment, pay attention to detail, demonstrate a strong sense of urgency, and carry projects through to completion in a timely manner.Results-oriented team player with the ability to take initiative and drive programs.Subject matter expert in consumer behavior and marketing principles.Strong writing and communication skills; experience in copywriting will be considered an asset.Must be highly self-motivated, personally & professionally resilient, enthusiastic, passionate and capable of working independently and collaboratively.Excellent computer skills; proficient in MS Office – PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat; familiarity with Adobe CS; digital asset management; experience with digital advertising and SEO a plus.Share this job
