Professional, supervisory and administrative work directing the day to day operation of large regional branch library and includes associated library branches. Duties include staff scheduling, attention to physical branch facility, selecting, training and evaluating branch staff. Tasks include, but are not limited to circulation, interlibrary loan, technological reference and all related library operations. Work also includes developing and implementing programs, services and special events to promote use of the library branch and related work as required.

Two (2) years of this experience must have been in a supervisory capacity at an urban public library.Note:

This position requires a one (1) year probationary period. A rating of training and experience, weighted 100%. All related previous experience will be considered for qualification purposes; however, credit on the rating of training and experience will only be given for experience gained within the last ten (10) years.APPLICATIONS:
