Job DescriptionJob Summary (General Responsibilities):Responsible for developing and managing marketing assets for new product and software introductions (NPIs) including business-facing messaging, packaging, videos, photography, social media content, copy, and digital content. The position is responsible for developing each NPI’s positioning within its category and how they fit within the overall Belkin brand architecture. This role collaborates closely with the Product Marketing Managers to plan and execute larger Consumer and B2B initiatives including paid media campaigns, trade shows, and execution of all creative assets needed to support sales.Specific Responsibilities IncludeDevelop creative briefs, schedule and lead project kickoffs with cross-functional teams, set go-to-market strategies, and develop go-to-market assets; kick off each project in a timely manner to ensure products launch in market globally on time.Fully understand the assigned product categories: set strategies and develop marketing content based on overall business objectives.Develop NPI content based on brand guide and templates; manage creative development from content review through product launches, ensuring content is developed with accuracy and upholds brand standards.Act as the main liaison with the internal creative team to ensure all marketing assets are produced to the best quality, on time, on brand, and are in line with the overall business objectives.Meet all internal and external deadlines; successfully project manage NPIs and partner closely with all cross-functional teams including the Global Product Management Team, Internal Creative Group, Engineering, Industrial Design Group, Legal, and Packaging Engineering daily to ensure accuracy of content.Drive proactive and consistent communication with cross-functional teams and collaborate with regional marketing teams to ensure timely launch of all NPI go-to-market content; review content and understand regional requirements related to market needs and integrate key requirements into briefs and content as needed.Collaborate with the Digital marketing team to develop best-in-class Belkin.com and eCommerce (Amazon) content.Brand initiatives: assist in the execution of brand initiatives including paid media advertising campaigns and the rollout of brand projects including packaging refresh.Social media: support all social media content development, helping to work with the social media team to develop briefs and reporting as assigned.Assist in the development and execution of consumer insights initiatives.Review all content from a marketing perspective ensuring brand messaging for end consumers and information is accurate and upholds brand standards.Keep abreast of industry and competitive trends and regularly inform the team of noteworthy news items and opportunities.Education And Experience RequirementsBachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or business administration.1-3 years previous experience in a marketing role with hands-on experience creating marketing collateral.Direct experience with consumer electronics and mobility products is a strong plus.Detail-oriented with exceptional proofing and reviewing skills.Excellent organization and project management capabilities with an ability to juggle multiple projects at once, keeping programs on schedule, while ensuring all content is developed to the highest quality.Customer-oriented and team player attitude; exhibits strong collaboration and partnering skills.What You’re Getting IntoWe’ve got big collaborative spaces for your big ideas, so bring an open mind and leave your suit in the closet. In addition to a competitive market-based salary, compensation also includes a performance-based bonus, and in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
