Arrowhead Talent Solutions is helping a manufacturing company find a Technical Director for their manufacturing operations in the Louisville, KY area. This role will be responsible for the overall strategy, direction, and execution of technical initiatives across all business units.
Find out exactly what skills, experience, and qualifications you will need to succeed in this role before applying below.Responsibilities:Provide leadership to the entire Technical department (approximately 12 people).Drive R&D and Product Development Strategies that ensure the company’s position as an innovation leader within the industry.Develop and conduct process improvement strategies related to manufacturing.Provide leadership to the quality control department and ensure best practices are followed.Provide technical assistance to the sales and customer service team, as well as resources for the contractors that work with the company's products.Oversee and document all aspects of product compliance and regulatory requirements and testing, ensuring that all certificates are current and accessible.Manage BOM’s and ensure that product and engineering changes are processed correctly in the system.Support operations and procurement to drive Lean and continuous improvement.Liaise with customers, sales, and marketing to establish and maintain product and technical roadmaps.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelors degree preferredRecent experience in manufacturing leadership with a focus on technical initiativesExperience with printing, inks, coatings, lamination, plastics, polymers or vinyl preferredExperience with Gravure or Flexographic printing preferred
