Junior Proposal Writer

to join our team.In this role, you will support TCG's proposal development with well-written, accurate, and compelling wordsmithing that is informative and appropriate for TCG's audience and proposal goals. As a member of the proposal team, you are comfortable with taking direction and working with subject matter experts to hone each technical section within the confines of the overall strategy for the proposal.Either US Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required for this role. In addition, the selected applicant must submit to and pass a background investigation.TCG is pleased to offer remote employment in the following states: AL, AZ, CO, CT, DE, GA, HI, IL, IN, KS, LA, MD, MA, MI, MN, MO, NJ, NC, OH, OR, PA (excluding the City of Philadelphia), SC, TN, UT, VA, WV, and WI.RESPONSIBILITIES:

Take ownership of technical proposal sections and see them through to completion before the government deadline.Research technical topics to write compliant, compelling, information-rich narratives that describe how our team provides services such as Agile software development, DevOps practices, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.Use AI tools such as ChatGPT4 to develop draft content that can be edited for use in technical and past performance sections.Interview subject matter experts to develop narratives for assigned sections.Maintain a list of subject matter experts and other resources for research and technical solutioning help.Coordinate with TCG's Research & Development Lab and Capabilities Captains to present the company's emerging technologies and capabilities in proposal volumes and other artifacts.Research, collate, and maintain metrics.Participate in data calls and clarify proposal data with writers/SMEs/subcontractors.Write outlines and assigned sections.Maintain and coordinate assignments using a project management tool.Other duties as assigned to include marketing writing such as:

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

2 years of relevant experience.Excellent written and spoken communication.Critical and analytical thinking, with strong attention to detail.Interpersonal and problem-solving skills.Experience in the following toolsets:

Microsoft WordMicrosoft PowerPointGoogle DriveGoogle DocumentsGoogle SpreadsheetsGoogle Slides

Proficiency in grammar, spelling, and punctuation, with accurate proofreading skills.Familiar with Associated Press style writing and format.Ability to work with minimal supervision and within a fully remote team.PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
