Social Media Manager, Beboe

will develop and execute our social media content strategy for our Beboe brand. They will work collaboratively with events & experiences, creative, local marketing, sales, compliance, and external partners to craft authentic moments of connection for our audience that simultaneously build our Beboe brand.

We're seeking an innovative, creative, and strategic social media expert, who lives social media both inside and outside of work. (Don't be shy, show us that screen time!) You have a deep understanding of the social voice, tone and style that resonates on various social media platforms, such as Instagram, Facebook, Reddit, YouTube, and TikTok. You also generate your own personal content masterfully - and you are obsessed with luxury + fashion and well-versed in cannabis culture.

Responsibilities

Help develop and execute a winning social media strategy that helps Beboe achieve its audience engagement and growth goals, while simultaneously building the brand.

Develop an ongoing content calendar for all key social channels, in partnership with the broader brand equity and activation team, inclusive of influencer content.

Create ground-up content with a combination of lo-fi photography/videography and basic graphic design (e.g., Photoshop / Canva).

Provide inspiration and participate in ideation for more intensive graphic design projects in partnership with our creative team, ensuring alignment to both brand guidelines and social media best practices.

Continuously monitor ROI and translate channel / campaign data into actionable insights.

Conduct periodic competitive audits & implement new/reactive plans as needed.

Manage social media influencer relationships and content parameters.

Manage external community management agency.

Travel to Beboe events to capture and deliver social content in real time.

Qualifications

You have

1-3+

years' experience in social media management , leveraging Instagram, Facebook, Reddit, YouTube, and TikTok to engage and build communities (in-house or with an agency.)

You are fluent in social tools,

such as Hootsuite, Google Analytics, Zendesk, or similar.

You can create content across social media platforms,

leveraging basic graphic design (with Photoshop and/or Canva) and lo-fi photography and video (oh hey there, iPhone 15 Pro!) skills.

You can write engaging copy,

that manifests our brand voice in a relevant, authentic, channel-appropriate manner.

You can organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects under strict deadlines,

with multiple, opinionated stakeholders across the organization, including our CEO.

You love a fast pace and don't mind the occasional pivot.

Cannabis is highly regulated and often requires quick thinking and multiple pivots to make things work.

You eat, sleep, and breathe social media.

You are up on social trends, world news, popular culture, and fandoms. The more personal screen time your iPhone clocks, the better!

You are a personally active content creator across multiple social channels.

You know how to create killer video content, you can authentically generate views, and you are willing to use your personal following to generate visibility for Beboe content.

You understand luxury brands and their trends.

You're up to date on which brands are hot and which are not, what's a trend vs. a fad, and what the luxury consumer is looking for and aspiring to be.

You understand cannabis culture

- and know the cannabis brands that are showing up in social media authentically and the ones who are trying a little too hard.

Additional Requirements

Must be able to travel / work events, which may occur on evenings and/or weekends. Expected travel = 10-20%.

Must pass any and all required background checks

Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry

Must possess valid driver's license

Must be a minimum of 21 years of age

Must be approved by state badging agency to work in cannabis industry
