The candidate will work closely with the project manager and design team to develop, detail, and coordinate schematic design through construction documents.The candidate must be creative, well-organized, self-motivated and collaborative.This position is not remote. Candidates must be located within a commutable distance to San Francisco and legally authorized to work in the United States. Arcanum is unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role.Qualifications:Accredited degree in architecture: B.Arch. or M.Arch.5+ years of professional experience, primarily in high-end custom residential projectsKnowledge of CRC standards, design, and detailing in Type V constructionProficiency in AutoCAD, Sketchup, and Adobe Suite required; Revit preferredThoughtful design skills and strong portfolio, including examples of residential construction drawingsExcellent verbal, written and graphic communication skillsStrong organization skills, attention to detail, and self-managementResponsibilities:Collaborate effectively with the project manager and design team in the development of the design with limited supervisionCreate preliminary and schematic design drawing packages for client presentations and design review boardsManage production, organization, and coordination of drawing sets with an exceptional standard of craft and qualitySeek innovative approaches to communicate design ideas efficiently, effectively, and artfully using various software platformsCompensation:Competitive salaryPaid vacation and holidays401(k)Medical, dental, and vision health care plansLife insurance and disability plansProfit sharing plan
