If you want to know about the requirements for this role, read on for all the relevant information.Location: Remote - based in Los AngelesSalary: $55,000Department: ContentWe’re looking for a dynamic and creative videographer to produce, shoot, and edit videos for our Western USA and L.A. social pages and online player. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, with a keen understanding of the social media landscape. This role will primarily focus on vertical video production for Instagram Reels and TikTok, though may also include some longer-form projects. You’ll also work in tandem with the content team, and specifically, the Editor, Los Angeles and Western USA, to aid in rapidly expanding Time Out’s video output.ResponsibilitiesShooting, producing and editing videos across multiple short-form social media platforms.Spearhead our Western USA video storytelling in line with our editorial curation.Strategizing viral video content for L.A. and the Western U.S. properties with key metrics in mind.Creating graphics packages and animations.Collaborating with the social media team and editorial team to deliver engaging and platform-specific video content.Keeping on top of evolving video trends in the industry, responding appropriately and feeding back learnings to the team.Maintaining Time Out’s video archive.Ensuring Time Out meets its copyright obligations.Qualifications:At least three years experience in a digital video production environment, or other relevant work experience.Proven experience shooting, editing, and distributing video.A love of social media and experience creating videos for multiple platforms.A good understanding of video monetization strategies.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Exceptional time and project management skills.Able to effectively manage stakeholders.A track record in delivering projects on time and to brief.About our cultureAt Time Out Group we believe in diversity and equal opportunity for all people.
