Vice President of Creative

who will lead our brand’s creative journey with passion, innovation, and strategic acumen. This role is pivotal in shaping Sakara’s visual and brand identity across all touchpoints, driving impactful experiences that resonate deeply with our clients and elevates our brand to new heights.

Job Responsibilities:

Brand Guardianship: Act as the ultimate steward of the Sakara brand, ensuring consistency, authenticity, and emotional resonance in all creative expressionsCustomer-Centric Insights: In partnership with CMO, harness deep consumer insights to develop creative solutions that anticipate and exceed the expectations of our discerning Clients. Utilize data-driven insights and analytics to measure the effectiveness of creative campaigns and continuously optimize creative strategies to improve performance metricsIntegrated Campaign Development and 360 Execution: Lead the conceptual ideation of integrated marketing campaigns to maximize impact and engagement. Direct and oversee the creation of compelling creative assets for 360-degree marketing channels, including film, OOH, digital, social media, experiential activations, and packagingContent Strategy: In partnership with the Marketing team develop and oversee the content strategy, ensuring that creative assets not only reflect the brand’s visual identity but also effectively communicate key messaging and storytelling elementsInspiring Leadership: Lead and mentor a diverse team of creative professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. Partner closely with the CEO, CMO, and cross-functional teams to set and execute the brand vision, driving alignment and excitement across the organizationUser Interface (UI) Design Oversight: Collaborate with UX and Ecomm teams to ensure that digital experiences and interfaces align with Sakara’s brand aesthetic and enhance CVR, user engagement and satisfactionBudget, Legal and Resource Management: In partnership with creative producers and creative ops, manage the creative budgets effectively, optimizing resource allocation to deliver high-impact creative solutions that drive measurable business outcomes. Ensure that all creative assets and campaigns comply with legal regulations and industry standards, collaborating with legal and compliance teams as necessaryAgency and Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external creative agencies, freelancers, and vendors to ensure quality of work, adherence to timelines, and cost-effectivenessInternal Stakeholder Engagement: Engage and align with internal stakeholders across departments (e.g., product development, operations, product tech and marketing), to understand their creative needs and priorities, fostering collaboration and cross-functional synergyJob Requirements:Professional Experience: Proven experience (15+ years) in creative and design, with a strong portfolio showcasing exceptional campaign and design work for DTC subscription businesses and top-tier brandsDesign Education: Degree in Design, Digital Design, Visual Communication, or related fieldTechnical Skills: Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Figma, Sketch, etc.Strategic Thinker: Ability to think strategically about design solutions, balancing creativity with data-driven insights and business goalsTeam Leader: Strong leadership, collaboration and communication skills, with a track record of working effectively across cross-functional teamsAdaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously and adapting to changing prioritiesPassion for Wellness: Interest in health, wellness, and lifestyle brands, with a commitment to enhancing experiences that empower and inspire our audienceThis full-time role is based at our NYC Headquarters in Soho. We currently operate under a hybrid model where you will be required to work in person 3 days during the week.

The compensation salary range for this role is $200,000 - $225,000 annually plus benefits.
