In this role, you will plan and manage marketing activities, resources, and schedules for positive, creative, and successful accomplishment of proposal production, public relations/advertising, and marketing/sales objectives of the business units or group.Job Responsibilities:

Manage the proposal plan, draft storyboards, and proposal/win strategyManage proposal meetings, assignments, and proposal plansManage blue team, pink team and red team review meetings and approve proposal material in response to review and requestsManage proposal process involving graphics and visuals to submittalManage post-submittal activities to ensure close-outManage the interview and presentation generation and preparationIndependently lead the coordination and preparation of proposals of all sizesProvide heavy support to and/or take ownership of proposal sections of major strategic pursuitsWith no supervision, coordinate, write, edit/tailor, and perform research for non-technical proposal sections; ensure compliance; proactively identify, communicate, and mitigate potential issues/variancesLead proposal kick-off meetings and other milestone meetingsUnderstand business objectives, priorities, and sales strategy, especially as they relate to the proposal processServe as a subject matter expert on, advocate, and actively follow SOC procedures, policies, protocols, and best practices, including standard file management and archiving procedures, as well as Branding GuidelinesMay act as a group resource and trainer for SOC best practices, policies, and proceduresCoach, mentor, and/or provide pursuit oversight to junior staff within SOCEducation/Experience:

Bachelor's degree (marketing, communications, English, journalism, or business administration) with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, with 8+ years of experience in the Architecture/Engineering/Construction (AEC) industry preferredSpecific Knowledge, Skills, License, Certifications:

Experienced understanding of Federal Government processes and proceduresStrategic mindset and sound judgment to identify gaps in pursuits and proposals and coach team on solutionsAbility to implement marketing and business development principlesSolid understanding of AEC industry terminology and proceduresLeadership experience in a collaborative team environmentSupervisory experience preferredAdvanced analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong editing capabilitiesExcellent management skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative SuiteAdvanced understanding of graphic design and productionAdvanced organization and leadership skills to manage challenging opportunitiesAbility to prioritize and communicate what is most important for the success of the businessEnvironmental factors and/or Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
