We believe in partnering with others who share these values and understand their importance.Job DescriptionDavid Yurman is seeking a leader to join our marketing team as the Sr. Director, Media Investment. This pivotal role offers a unique opportunity to shape the media landscape for an iconic brand, driving brand awareness, engagement, and omni-channel sales with an online and offline global media mix. Key partners for this role include Go-To-Market, Marketing Strategy, Channel + Trade Marketing, Creative and E-Commerce. This role will manage a team of 4 and agency partners.Media Strategy and Planning:Develop and implement innovative and data-driven media strategies to drive brand awareness, engagement, and sales.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align media initiatives with overall brand and marketing objectives.Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging platforms to ensure David Yurman maintains a cutting-edge media presence.Budget Management:Oversee the budgeting process for media investments, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across various channels.Monitor and optimize campaign performance to maximize ROI and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).Plan investment in response to Global Marketing Strategy and Product Marketing mix.Agency Partnership:Manage relationships with external media agencies, providing clear direction and feedback to optimize campaign performance.Negotiate contracts, secure favorable rates, and evaluate agency performance against agreed-upon benchmarks.Work with agency leadership and a multidisciplinary agency team to leverage innovative ad products that grow David Yurman’s competitive advantage in the Luxury space.Cross-Channel Integration:Collaborate with go-to-market, creative, marketing strategy and e-commerce teams to ensure seamless integration of media initiatives across channels.Leverage a holistic approach to media planning that includes full-funnel traditional and emerging platforms.Measurement and Analysis:Establish key performance indicators and implement robust measurement strategies to assess the effectiveness of media campaigns.Provide regular reporting and insights to stakeholders, identifying opportunities for optimization and improvement.Own forecast of performance media contribution to DTC e-commerce and retail outlets.Build a strategy for incrementality-first optimization, prioritizing spend to most incremental tactics.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.8-10 years of experience in media planning and investment, preferably within the luxury or fashion industry or agencies that support luxury brands.Proven track record of developing and executing successful media strategies.Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights, and forecast business impact.Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and manage a team of people leadersIn-depth knowledge of media landscape, trends, and emerging technologies.Location: New York, NYWorking Mode: HybridEstimate Salary Range: $200,000 – $215,000Base pay is one component of David Yurman’s total compensation package, which may also include the following for eligible employees: access to healthcare benefits, 401(k) plan, bonus, employee discounts, Summer Fridays (corporate roles), generous paid time off, sick time, and more.Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at David YurmanAs a company founded by artists, David Yurman champions self-expression in everything we do.
