ImmunityBio, Inc. is a late-stage immunotherapy company developing a broad pipeline of next-generation therapies that drive immunogenic mechanisms for defeating cancer and infectious disease. The company’s immunotherapy platform is designed to activate both the innate (natural killer cell and macrophage) and adaptive (T cell) immune systems to create long-term “immunological memory.” The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has accepted for review ImmunityBio’s resubmission of its Biologics License Application (BLA) for N-803, a first-in-class IL-15 superagonist, plus Bacillus Calmette-Guérin (BCG) for the treatment of BCG-unresponsive non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer carcinoma in situ (CIS) with or without Ta or T1 disease, and has set a user fee goal date (PDUFA date) of April 23, 2024.

Position SummaryThe Marketing Specialist will author marketing content for print, media in all forms and web projects, and collaborate with other marketing, sales, and corporate professionals to implement innovative campaigns for branding or product launches. The role will develop and propose strategic initiatives through market research and coordination with the Promotional Review Committee as needed. Additional duties include but are not limited to: researching target audiences, recording data from campaign results to add to future reports, assisting in the development of PowerPoint presentations and other materials, and overseeing the company’s social media channels to ensure brand uniformity.

Essential FunctionsConduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor offerings and demographic data.Partner with internal stakeholders and creative team to come up with branding ideas, graphic designs, promotional materials, and advertising copy.Author marketing content for print, media in all forms and web projects.Research effective marketing and promotional channels, including media platforms to be used to relay product messages to HCPs and patients.Investigate the performance of the company’s marketing campaigns and strategies through evaluating key performance metrics.Create innovative marketing campaigns depending on robust data and present the recommendations to management.Create goals and objectives in order to approach HCPs and patients through appropriate communication channels.Assist with outbound and inbound marketing activities by displaying expertise in certain areas such as advertising, optimization, and content development.Oversee the company’s social media channels to ensure brand uniformity.Performs other duties as assigned.

Education & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Advertising, Communications, or related field.Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience writing and editing projects.Portfolio of relevant previous projects highly preferred.Experience in pharmaceutical industry strongly encouraged.

Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at the same time (e.g., event logistics, booth management company, event-related advertising etc.).Excellent verbal and written communication skills that may include public speaking and presentations.Superior interpersonal and customer service skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Ability to be flexible and effectively adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Must be proficient with Adobe products and PowerPoint.

Working Environment / Physical EnvironmentThis position works from a remote home office.Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.Must be able to travel at least once per month.

This position is eligible for a discretionary bonus and equity award. The base pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications, prior experience as well as geographic location.

$72,000 (entry-level qualifications) to $103,000 (highly experienced) annually.
