**Job Description Summary**As Associate Director Global Marketing, BSI Solutions, Informatics, Partners, you will be an integral part of the Global Microbiology Marketing Team at BD Diagnostic Solutions (DS), and responsible for driving both upstream and downstream initiatives that support growth objectives. Become a **maker of possible** with us.**Key responsibilities will include:**+ Lead the global strategy evolution and execution of the Bloodstream Infection Solution (BSI) by deploying best-in-class marketing practices for segmentation, targeting, positioning, and messaging to deliver differentiated value for BD and our customers.+ Lead, develop and implement global marketing tools and initiatives to ensure regions are equipped for success and best-positioned to drive adoption, acquire and retain customers with the BSI Solution. Track the effectiveness of implementation, including sales funnel activities, impact of associated product revenue, category share growth.+ In strong collaboration with the Global Marketing Director support the development of the Antimicrobial Resistance / Antimicrobial Stewardship (AMR / AMS) strategy. This will include strategy development and tactical execution to ensure an optimized approach with a strong stakeholder and-patient-centric focus, to position DS as a leader in AMR /AMS, over the ASR period. The stakeholder focus will inside those both inside and outside of the lab e.g., infection prevention, medical directors, pharmacists, AMS teams.+ Develop and utilize market intelligence by analyzing industry, market, policy, and social trends to identify market / customer needs, attitudes, behaviors specifically relating to BSI, AMR, AMS. Utilize insights gained to inform marketing and business development strategies, as applicable.+ Lead improved customer experience (internal and external) by being the conduit between global microbiology platforms (blood culture and ID/AST) and the global informatics team to ensure we are best positioned to deliver differentiated customer value through our combined instrument and informatics offering. This will include, but not limited to, optimized approaches, pricing, execution of licensing fees, development of tactics and tools to execute informatics strategy enabling growth of our instrument platforms (Blood culture and ID/AST).+ Lead the development of global marketing plans for assigned initiatives (including BSI, AMR/AMS) to ensure the achievement of financial/budget expectations and portfolio strategies. Build and execute the tactical plan, to ensure pricing, positioning, and messaging are communicated effectively and implemented consistently in all regions.+ Develop and maintain relationships with our external business partners, including Bruker, Accelerate and others, to ensure we can deliver differentiated value and create a win-win position for both BD and our partners. This will include collaborating with both the regions and the external partners to execute defined strategies, owning the global launch and marketing plan for partner products, delivering supporting tactics and the “day-to-day” requirements to drive growth. Track and report on progress and delivery of expectations, including growth and market penetration.+ Establish and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including regional marketing counterparts, R&D, Clinical and Scientific Affairs, HEOR, Business Development, and other functions to ensure appropriate inputs into portfolio and marketing strategy.**About you: To be successful in this role, you require:**+ Minimum of 7-years in product and/or marketing management. Demonstrated track record in identifying market opportunities, market segmentation, targeted marketing, competitive analysis, pricing strategy and go-to-market models and strategies.+ Experience in Microbiology and/or Infectious Diseases is ideal, plus general knowledge of the diagnostics / life sciences market, as well as sales, operations, and marketing functions.+ The ability to understand and translate scientific, clinical, and technical information into marketing and customers benefits to inform strategies and tactical execution is a key skillset+ Effective interpersonal skills; strong oral and written communication; demonstrated abilities in organization, prioritization and planning, goal setting, analytical and problem solving; demonstrated ability to work and thrive in a matrixed environment.+ Results-oriented, with demonstrated ability to multi-task; capable of managing and driving the completion of multiple competing projects.+ Global experience is preferred.+ Minimum: bachelor’s degree required; preferably Life Sciences.
