See how your contributions will help transform vision into reality:****Position Overview:**The Boating Intelligence (BI) Design Lab is seeking a creative and innovative Media Intern for Summer 2025. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the lab in various tasks, including managing social media accounts, creating content, and recording and promoting work and progress. You will also promote all content to our cohorts, highlighting accomplishments and documenting projects.This role is ideal for someone passionate about media and looking to develop their skills in a dynamic environment. e, you would be responsible for r cord project work and progress to market the BI Design Lab and promote its cohort and accomplishments, and document projects**At Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver.****Essential Functions:****Capture video and photo of ongoing office activities and project work, and interview** **students, full times, and visiting guests for video projects.****Edit raw footage into polished videos using video editing software such as Adobe Premiere** **,** **Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.****Work with project teams to create compelling storytelling deliverables.****Create unique videos and media content to document project work and promote lab projects,** **employees, and activities for social media platforms, internal documentation, and other** **promotional events or platforms.****Assist in managing and updating social media platforms.****Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.****Required Qualifications:**+ To be considered for the internship, candidates must have permanent US Work authorization.+ Current enrollment in a BS degree program at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign+ Photography and video capture capability.+ Able to create compelling stories through media.+ Portfolio highlighting a variety of projects.+ Intermediate ability in photoshop, lightroom, premiere pro, or similar for photo and videoediting purposes.**Preferred Qualifications:**+ Capability in creative software like aftereffects, blender, or similar for video editing oranimation creation purposes.+ Graphic design capabilities.**Travel Requirements** **:**No Travel is Required**Working Conditions:****Learning Opportunities:** Our internships are designed to provide hands-on experience in a professional setting. You will work alongside experienced professionals and get a chance to apply your academic knowledge to real-world tasks.**Project Work:** The work environment is supportive, collaborative, and conducive to learning. Interns typically work on specific projects or tasks that contribute to the organization’s goals. This may range from supporting larger projects to handling smaller, individual assignments.**Hours:** Interns must work at least 8 hours in person at the lab each week during the fall and spring terms. You may work up to 20 hours maximum. During summer, interns are expected to work 40 hours in person at the lab each week.**Feedback and Performance Reviews:** As an intern, you will receive feedback and performance reviews throughout your assignment.
