This role involves deep involvement on projects from design to development & deployment. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to the future of the Prime Video playback experience on Live Sports, Movies and TV Shows.You will work with Software Development Engineers to understand features and technical implementation. You will also work with groups such as Product Management, UX designers to understand customer usage models and develop test plans and suites that approximate real-world environments and regression tests driving the software development process toward quality-centric methodologies. You will develop automated tests to help fasten testing cycles and release faster to our customers. Test Planning and Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for new features and product releases.2. Bug Identification and Resolution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, document, and resolve software defects.3. Automation Scripting: Develop and maintain automated test scripts to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.4. Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless integration of quality throughout the development lifecycle.5. Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in retrospectives and contribute to process improvements to enhance overall product quality.About the teamPlayback Testing Solutions is responsible for maintaining the quality of the Prime Video Playback experience across all player types and technology stacks. We operate multiple test labs for both manual and automated testing and engage in testing the most critical features and product launches. The base pay for this position ranges from $75,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $183,100/year in our highest geographic market.
