Minimum qualifications:+ Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or Interaction, or equivalent practical experience.+ 15 years of experience in product design and related roles.+ 10 years of experience in a senior role creating strategy and designing products.+ 7 years of experience managing design teams.Preferred qualifications:+ Experience working collaboratively with senior designers, and executives in product management and engineering.+ Experience elevating product craft, including proficiency in Figma.+ Experience with artificial intelligence and large language models.+ Proficiency in using and contributing to a design system and UI style guide.+ Ability to create a culture that nurtures talented UX team members, solves complex design problems, and delivers simple product solutions.+ Strong communication skills with the ability to understand, articulate positions, and advocate designs.In this role, you'll bring new experiences to life with modern design tools. You will work alongside, influence, and inspire an exceptional team of designers, researchers, engineers, motion designers, and thinkers. As the Design Systems lead, you will direct the creation of a cohesive, modern experience across the Workspace product suite.In this role, you will apply your passion for excellent user experiences to guide research and design processes, develop and grow talented members of your team, and fully enable your teams to create the best possible experiences across all of Google Workspace.Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
