Those events, which include the College of Music's Artist Series, Eklund Opera, Holiday Festival, Musical Theatre Program, Takacs Quartet, and free faculty, staff and student performances, as well as the College of Arts and Science's Colorado Shakespeare Festival and Department of Theatre and Dance, are a team effort. Duties include generating multimedia content such as video, archiving and distributing photography and video, supervising vendors and student employees generating content, managing social media, contributing digital content to support CUP paid campaigns and website, proofreading and other projects. CUP also promotes 300-400 mission driven free events each year.**What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be****Organic Social Media**+ Manage robust social media planning calendars for multiple channels.+ Create and publish content consistently and strategically for CU Presents social media channels (e.g. Facebook, Instagram).+ Write original content and repurpose existing content for social channels, paying particular attention to voice and style appropriate for the channel.+ Work with partner organizations to provide social media guidelines and promotional standard processes and manage approvals.+ Work alongside the marketing manager to understand the target audiences for campaigns and communications and use that information to guide the development of social media content and creative assets.+ Develop and ensure content aligns with brand messaging and visual and verbal storytelling standards, meets accessibility standards and follows guiding principles for inclusive language.+ Stay abreast of social media trends, and tools and suggest new features that keep pace with them.+ Review analytics and adapt efforts to enhance results.+ Stay in contact with CU Boulder Strategic Relations Social Media team regarding CU standards and standard methodologies.+ Manage channels during emergency situations in collaboration with CU Boulder Strategic Relations Social Media team.+ Manage social engagement on all channels including paid and organic content.**Multimedia Content Creation and Curation**+ Create multimedia content for web, social media, email campaigns.+ Develop and implement video promotional strategies under the direction of the Marketing and PR Director and in collaboration with the Marketing Manager.+ Manage the acquisition and maintenance of video production equipment while working within department budgets.+ Build and institutionalize best practices and efficiencies in video production.+ Produce videos and other multimedia collateral.+ Supervise students and vendors collecting and crafting multimedia content.+ Format and edit content for accuracy and consistency with organizational branding and communication goals.+ Maintain and organize multimedia archives.+ Work closely with other team members on content development.+ Work independently with strategic guidance from CU Presents leadership and CU Presents communications team.+ Collaborate with other CU Presents program partners, including performers, directors and guests.**What You Should Know**The successful candidate will need to be available to work at occasional evening and weekend events.This position operates in a hybrid format, with some in person and some remote work weekly, dependent on business needs.**What We Can Offer**The salary range for this position is $56,000 - $60,500 annually.**Benefits**The University of Colorado offers excellent benefits (olorado.edu/jobs/benefits) , including medical, dental, retirement, paid time off, tuition benefit and ECO Pass.
