**Ultium Cells Overview:**Ultium Cells is a joint venture Lithium-Ion Automotive Battery Cell Manufacturing plant between LG Energy Solutions and General Motors. This new construction high-technology plant will have the latest Battery Cell manufacturing technology. The investment in this new business venture represents a commitment of more than $2.3 Billion. It will be among the largest Battery Cell Manufacturing plants in the world. Ultium Cells will produce Battery Cells for General Motors North American electric vehicle applications.The Ultium cell partners include LG Energy Solutions; the world’s largest manufacturer of Automotive Battery Cells in the world and General Motors a global company committed to delivering safer, better, and more sustainable ways for people to get around.**Position Description:**We’re looking for an energetic, passionate storyteller who can effectively engage with teams and community stakeholders.In this role, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and executing internal communication strategies that ensure employees are informed, motivated, and aligned with the company's goals and values. You’ll have the opportunity to make a significant impact and grow your professional expertise within a dynamic, collaborative team.+ Research and develop creative storytelling to connect with our audience and inspire the One Ultium Team.+ Assist in the creation and distribution of internal communications, including emails, newsletters, intranet posts, and alerts.+ Manage the private company Facebook group keeping the group updated with relevant news to engage and inform employees. Address all inquiries and questions promptly and effectively.+ Create and implement internal communication plans that support company initiatives and foster a positive work environment.+ Ensure all content aligns with branding standards and best practices, consistently reinforcing company values.+ Track and analyze the effectiveness of communication strategies, gathering feedback to continuously improve.+ Build community relationships and organize volunteer activities for team members.+ Work with various departments to ensure smooth communication across the plant.+ Identify and capitalize on media opportunities with engaging press releases for Ultium Cells.**Qualifications:**+ Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.+ Proven experience in internal communications or a similar role.+ Strong writing, editing, and content creation skills.+ Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.+ Proactive, self-starter attitude with a passion for storytelling and innovation.+ Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.**Total Rewards Information:**We offer market-competitive compensation including base pay and incentive compensation opportunities based on the achievement of Company goals.
