Fundamental to this role is streamlining and minimizing the amount of correspondence, resulting in a better field and client experience. The role reports to the Head of Field & Client Communications.The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:* Provide strategic direction to business partners on field and client communications including:o Guidance on appropriate use of channels dependent on messageo Ensuring content is clear, concise and relevant for intended audienceo Supporting partners in execution steps, when necessaryo Partner with functional areas to define communication requirements* Drive the day-to-day management and execution of team priorities* Partner closely with risk partners to effectively manage risk and support audit requests* Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across lines of business* Identify communication challenges and work cross-functionally to develop solutions to reduce pain-points and increase team efficiencies* Support special projects/ad-hoc deliverables with flexibility* Highly motivated, self-starter that can work autonomously and can independently take initiative* Outstanding time management skills and sound judgment* Detail and process-oriented with the ability to multi-task* Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to succinctly deliver complex messages* Ability to work across departments to influence others and build strong relationshipso Confidence and comfort operating in high-paced and high-profile environmentso Proficiency in all Microsoft programs including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel* Experience with Adobe Workfront recommendedMorgan Stanley's goal is to build and maintain a workforce that is diverse in experience and background but uniform in reflecting our standards of integrity and excellence.
