This position is located in the UM Medical Campus, Health District.SUMMARYThe Digital Marketing Specialist looks for ways to increase brand awareness, promote company products and services, and drive prospects to conversions. This position utilizes digital marketing effectively to communicate through appropriate technology platforms. The incumbent translates business goals into effective marketing campaigns. This position will support the UHealth Medical Wellness Center and Talent Acquisition.CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:+ Develops program objectives, targets, tactics, and metrics, and defines best practices, standards, and processes to drive customer acquisition success.+ Focuses on incorporating more inbound, digital, and content marketing strategies to maximize results.+ Develops and executes successful email campaigns.+ Works with department staff to create event marketing strategies, produce signage, event collateral, and promotions.+ Cultivates new communities and oversees branded online communities.+ Monitors trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy.+ Responds to inquiries, addresses complaints and challenges, and does the utmost to improve online experience.+ Optimizes messaging and targeting for continuous improvement in social ad effectiveness.+ Reports on the effectiveness of campaigns and targets at regular intervals.+ Updates, edits, and proofreads online content and print collateral for accuracy.+ Leverages email marketing tools to develop transactional, promotional, and informational content strategies that maximize customer retention and acquisition.+ Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.This list of duties and responsibilities is not intended to be all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities as necessary.CORE QUALIFICATIONSEducation:Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.Experience:Minimum 3 years of relevant experienceKnowledge, Skills and Attitudes:+ Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.+ Ability to handle difficult and stressful situations with professional composure.+ Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships.+ Ability to understand and follow instructions.Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience and/or certifications may be considered.The University of Miami offers competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, tuition remission and more.UHealth-University of Miami Health System, South Florida's only university-based health system, provides leading-edge patient care powered by the ground breaking research and medical education at the Miller School of Medicine.
