Technical Staffing Resources has an opening for a Piping Designer with one of the largest EPC firms in the country. This is a long term contract position in the Marlborough, MA area.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPerform the necessary fieldwork, pulling measurements, locating tie-ins, as-building existing systems, etc. develop detailed scopes.Work from P&ID's, client specifications and vendor data to design complex piping systems for chemical facility.Create isometrics, pipe supportsEnsures that completed design is functional, maintainable and designed with safety and that all applicable codes have been followedInterface with other disciplinesQUALIFICATIONS AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:Knowledgeable in the design and layout of process piping and equipment in chemical facilities or refineriesAutoCAD experience requiredAbility to work independently as well as in a team environmentField experience is required
