This role will also be responsible for creating new and modified components and Bill of Materials (BOM) in accordance to the Oshkosh standards. You will be designing all kinds of different parts for our products - electrical components, designing steel castings, hydraulic hose routings, etc. Will be designing in different materials such as plastics, aluminum, sheet metal.**YOUR IMPACT**These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.+ Update current drawings per markups based on direction from engineering; re-master CAD drawings to current format.+ Use Siemens NX to create 3D and 2D layouts of parts and small assemblies.+ Self-check own work to ensure accuracy and organization, dimension and tolerance convention, and conformance with established CAD specifications and standards.+ Prepare and create Change Notice (CN) documents based on BOM and design layouts for appropriate date entry.+ Utilize ERP systems to create part numbers following the proper naming process and data entry requirements.+ Create and review BOM following engineering procedures.+ Provide technical assistance for prototype, pilot, and production support; provide assistance when needed.**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:**+ Associate degree or equivalent* with four (4) years of experience in drafting/design.+ Proficiency with any design software like CATIA, Creo, SolidWorks+ Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.**STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS:**+ Siemens NX experience**WORKING CONDITIONS:**+ **Physical Demands:** Frequent Sitting, Visual, Typing, Fine Dexterity, Manual Dexterity, Upper Extremity Repetitive Motion; Occasional Hearing, Talking; Seldom Standing, Walking/Running, Bending/Kneeling._*Note: equivalent equates approximately four (4) years of on the job experience to one (1) year of formal education.
