Eyewitness News is the No.1 local news and information source. We are looking for someone who understands and can work within our brand. We seek a designer to create mainly still graphics with strong communication skills to work in a team environment.Please include a portfolio showcasing various design projects, including digital, print, broadcast, and media, with your resume.Daily Hire is an employee hired to work on a daily basis with no requirement of a regular schedule.What You Will Do:Create design solutions that visually convey a particular message, idea, or concept

Design for broadcast, digital, and print

Maintain brand authenticity throughout all creative work

Required Qualifications & SkillsMinimum of 2 years of graphic design experience

Expert technical skills in the Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop and Illustrator

Some knowledge of After Effects

Ability to work well in a fast-paced news environment with tight deadlines

Must be willing to work any shift, including holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of current events - news, entertainment and sports

Knowledge of Google Earth Map

Required EducationHigh School Diploma or Equivalent

Preferred Education:BA/BFA degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media or relevant work experience

The pay rate for this daily hire role in New York is $34/hour.
