Product DesignerDearborn, MI (hybrid)$75,000+Full-Time (40 hours/week)Start Date: October 14th, 2024**We are unable to provide sponsorship for this position**As an entry-level Product Designer for this Fortune 500 automotive company, you will be helping to drive design-thinking mentality across the organization. With a higher emphasis on quality products and improved consumer experience, there is a gap in design talent that this organization is looking to fill with early-in-career talent.If you are passionate about learning new skills and building a long-term career in a high-priority space, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSCurrently pursuing or having earned a bachelor's degree in Experience Architecture, UI/UX, or a similar fieldPrevious experience with UX research tactics (ex: documentation, user interviews, creating user personas, etc.)Previous experience with wireframing and prototyping tools like Figma, Adobe XP, SketchBONUS: front end development experience with HTML/CSS or JavaScriptRESPONSIBILITIESConduct user research to understand user needs, mental models and working contextsCreate user journey maps to bring perspective to what the UI for applications should consist ofTake ideas from the concept to the production stage, using storyboarding, wireframing, redlines, prototypes, guidelines, and other communication/presentation methodsDevelop detailed product deliverables that effectively communicate UX designs and product requirementsParticipate in heuristic evaluations on past and current projects with project managers and developers
