POSITION DESCRIPTION

SUMMARY

The Marketing Coordinator will support the day-to-day operations and functions of the Marketing Department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIESWork with Marketing Director to develop and maintain social media calendar across multiple channels. Monitor brand on social media platforms. Execute social media campaigns to enhance content reach and maintain a consistent online presenceDevelop and curate engaging content for social media platforms; collaborate with Graphic Designer as neededMaintain brand voice standards across all platformsUpdate content on company website as neededAssist in coordinating content creation and other marketing projects from inception to completion, ensuring they align with brand standardsAttend company event activations as needed to support brand activationResearch, gather pricing, and provide recommendations on branded promotional items, event activation items, etc.Collaborate with marketing team to plan and execute on site event activationsManage administrative functions such as organizing meetings, maintaining project schedules, and coordinating with external vendors to ensure smooth and efficient campaign executionMonitor/track industry trends and competitors, collect and file content, creative and other information about the industry and competitors, in all forms of media. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS1-3 years experience in advertising, communications, or closely related fieldsDegree in marketing, integrated strategic communications, graphic design, etc.Fluent in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Meta Business)Experience working event activations preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteExperience in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat)Photography skills highly preferredOrganized with a strong attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skillsDigital advertising knowledgeAbility to work independently on assignments, as well as work collaboratively as part of a team.

SECONDARY DUTIES

The position of Marketing Director performs duties specific to the position and other functions as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

The position of Marketing Coordinator is not responsible for the supervision of anyone in the Marketing Department .

ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITY

The incumbent is in a non-confined office type setting in which he or she is free to move about at will. The position includes driving a Bank or personal owned vehicle approximately

10 percent

of the time, which includes exposure to the outside weather elements and moving mechanical parts. It may include some minor annoyances such as noise, odors, drafts, etc.

In the course of performing this position the incumbent spends time writing, typing, speaking, listening, lifting (up to

pounds), driving, carrying, seeing (such as close, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and adjusted focus), sitting, pulling, walking, standing, squatting, kneeling and reaching.

The incumbent for this position may operate any or all of the following: telephone, smart phone, copy and fax machines, adding machine (calculator), check protector, scanner and image systems, scanning equipment, encoder, money counter, credit card terminal, typewriter, computer terminal, laptop computer, personal computer, tablet, printers, or other equipment as directed.
