WHAT:
As a Senior UX Designer, you'll be responsible for designing usable, accessible, and engaging user experiences for the company's digital product line
WHO:
You'll design usable, accessible, and engaging digital experiences for the web and mobileYou'll own and make design decisions based on a thorough understanding of contemporary user-centereddesign principlesYou'll exercise independent judgment with minimal direction from supervisorYou'll collaborate with business partners and build upon their vision using sound UX principles
HOW:
You'll be an advocate for our usersYou'll utilize a thorough and methodical attention to detailYou'll demonstrate strong analytical skills and an ability to communicate concepts and recommendations confidently to a variety of audiencesYou'll capture requirements, design flows, wireframes, testable prototypes and fully fleshed out designsYou'll document your designs and consult with engineers to ensure they are built and function as intendedYou'll effectively demonstrate strong problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skillsYou'll self-manage time and have the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Factors, Design, Psychology, Sociology, or related field5-10 years of work experience and a Bachelor's Degree or 3 years of work experience with an AdvancedDegree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of experience with a PhDExperience conducting usability tests (including with users with disabilities) a plusExperience working with SCRUM in an Agile environment a plusSubject Matter Expertise in Accessibility (508/WCAG) a plusGroup facilitation and teaching (design thinking) skills a plus
Essential Qualifications:
Subject Matter Expertise in interaction designVery strong verbal and written communication skills. Fluent in spoken and written EnglishAbility to manage time and independently manages competing, simultaneous projects and deadlinesProficiency designing and developing prototypes using Balsamiq, Invision, or other industry toolsProficiency designing high-fidelity mockups using Photoshop, Sketch or other industry toolsThis position requires the incumbent to travel for work 3% of the timeThis position will be performed in an office setting.The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, reach with hands and arms, and bend or lift up to 25 pounds
Compensation:The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to, a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
