About the Role:Dr. Squatch is seeking a talented

Product Design Manager

role to lead the efforts in enhancing our E-commerce website application experience. The Product Design Manager has a strong emphasis on

advanced ecommerce design systems and content modeling . The position is a collaborative design role responsible for working with business departments to create new & improved site features across devices. The role requires experience with user research, user experience, visual design and interface design.

Heavy focus on design system, design library & CMS sections.This role will lead and manage a team of 2 full time product designers, along with 1-2 freelance designers.This role will report to the

Associate Director of Product Management This is a full-time hybrid role with company benefits based remotely.The anticipated base compensation range for this role will be $110,000 to $140,000. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and local market rates. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and local market rates.What you'll do:

Build Tailwind CSS / react aligned components into design system per team standards to unlock CMS & front-end engineering. Operationalize organization's design workflowWork closely with Product/Engineering teams to ideate, design and build new features, landing pages, and A/B test experiences that seek to elevate our DTC website product to industry leading levels.Design low fidelity wireframes, working prototypes and high fidelity web designs in Figma ready format for both user testing & development.Leverage advanced user interaction best practices to create a seamless & pleasant user experience.Design responsive web experiences and various e-commerce features such as: subscription flow, bundle builders, & account customer portal.Contribute to the product roadmap for key Product Design improvement on website, especially around mobile usability. Stay on top of latest design,usability, and overall ecommerce UX/Product Design trendsManage & coach direct reports (full time & freelancers) as required with intent of keeping design team aligned to design system & design libraryConduct effective & efficient research which is relevant to our business, industry & goalsAbout you:

5-7+ years of UX/UI & visual design experience, experience within a medium to large e-commerce team preferred2+ years of designer/design team experience with a passion for coaching, leading and building strong design team unityHelps create a fun and creative environment for team members to brainstorm inExpert in relevant technologies (Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, etc.)Experience with mobile design and responsive web applications.Experience in establishing design guidelines, standards, and best practices for the brand.Creative and open to new ideas, adaptable and willing to learn new techniques.Excellent communication skills in a fast paced, cross functional environment.Basic proficiency in front-end development web programming languages including HTML and CSS is a nice to have.UI/vector animation experience is a nice to have.Experience with CMS & managing a design system that supports is a nice to haveInterest in health and wellness, personal care, and/or eCommerce industriesExperience working in the consumer products industry is highly preferredSomeone who gets things done without perfect resources is innovative and works with a sense of urgencySomeone who has high standards takes ownership and is invested in the outcomeSomeone who proactively helps others stays positive and has a good sense of humor
