Job Description:

Who We Are

Agency123 is McDonald’s tiny-but-mighty internal creative agency. We’re a collaborative bunch, providing elevated creative solutions for McDonald’s internal and external communications. Working closely with the Global Marketing and Brand team, we play a pivotal role in implementing and stewarding our brand identity system across all McDonald’s communications.

The Role

We’re looking for a creative, forward-thinking Designer to join our team. They should be passionate about McDonald’s, have meticulous attention to detail, a strong visual aesthetic, be attuned to design trends, and be able to transform complex ideas into stunning visual executions. Collaborating closely with the Sr. Designer and Design Lead, they will be part of a fast-paced team, responsible for conceptualizing and designing creative across a diverse range of projects that span digital, print, presentations, experiential, video, virtual events, and communications. The designer should be able to both support and own the creative process from the original concept to final implementation. Throughout the process, they’ll be responsible for archiving project files and supporting the project database. We’re seeking someone enthusiastic about visual hierarchy, typography, composition, innovative design, and continually pushing for creative excellence. Skills and Characteristics

Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.

Must be able to manage time and prioritize multiple projects running simultaneously, while maintaining a clear vision of each from brief to production.

Can see the big picture while keeping an eye on every detail to ensure pixel perfection

Champions McDonald’s brand standards and design systems with internal and external partners

Ability to conceptualize, mockup, execute, and own projects from kickoff through final production

Stays up to date with industry developments, tools, and design trends

Has the ability to collaborate with internal and external partners

Always aspires for creative excellence

Highly organized, great communication skills, self-motivated, takes initiative, proactively problem-solves and can work cross-departmentally

Ability to respond effectively and appropriately to creative feedback

Flexible and able to contribute to projects of varying scope

Team player with a positive attitude and collaborative approach

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in an agency, design studio or similar professional/commercial practice

Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc)

Strong portfolio showcasing relevant design expertise

Demonstrated experience in designing creative across print, digital, social media, video, apparel/swag, and experiential platforms

Production skills with the ability to efficiently create production-ready artwork and assets

Keen attention to detail and commitment to quality

Experience in building digital files, managing revisions, and preparing files for release and production

Animation and editing skills (After Effects, Premeir Pro, etc) is a plus
