Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

Craft and execute PR strategies aligned with client objectives in the arts and culture industry.

Client Management

Serve as the main point of contact for arts and culture clients, providing strategic counsel and fostering strong relationships.

Team Leadership

Inspire a diverse team of PR professionals towards excellence and creativity.

Event Oversight

Lead the planning and execution of events to maximize PR opportunities and client engagement.

Creative Campaigns

Develop and approve imaginative PR campaigns that reflect client goals.

Media Relations

Build and maintain relationships with media outlets to ensure campaign success.

Content Strategy

Lead the creation of compelling content across platforms to engage audiences.

Crisis Management

Handle communication during challenging periods to safeguard and improve client reputations.

Business Development

Identify and pursue new opportunities within the arts and culture sector.

Client Onboarding

Collaborate with sales teams to ensure seamless onboarding for new clients.

Performance Metrics

Establish and monitor KPIs to measure PR campaign effectiveness.

Industry Trends

Stay informed on industry trends to keep strategies innovative and impactful.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

Minimum of 7 years of PR experience with at least 4 years in a leadership role in arts and culture.

Proven track record in developing and executing successful PR strategies.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Strong leadership background and team management experience.

Proficiency in crisis communication and reputation management.

Established network of media contacts and industry influencers in the arts and culture sector.

Experience in business development and client relationship management.

Proficient in writing press releases, pitch letters, and innovative media strategies.

Track record of successful event planning and management.

Ability to motivate teams and cultivate a high-performance culture.
