ABOUT THE ROLE

goodr is on the hunt for a sporty leader to join the team as our newest Director of Sports Marketing & Partnerships. In this role, you'll get to flex your sports expertise by strategizing ways to make goodr stand out in the active eyewear industry. You'll represent the brand at activations, cultivate relationships with athletes, and analyze the performance of all our sport marketing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Planning, coordinating, and executing all athlete related branding and marketing activities.

Define and implement marketing strategies for our defined sports, driving brand awareness and favorably positioning goodr in the active eyewear industry.

Oversight of on-brand athlete, partnership, social and event initiatives specific to our defined sports.

Collaborate closely and effectively liaising with other internal departments, such as Creative, Product, Sales, Media, Social, Events and PR.

Ensuring all contractual obligations are met and executed by team members.

Manage budget for all sports initiatives, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.

Identify key trends and opportunities in the sports industry through research and analysis.

Monitor and analyze the performance of sports marketing campaigns, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.

Act as a brand ambassador for goodr, representing the company at activations and events.

Lead and mentor a team of sports marketing professionals.

Continuously evaluate and improve sports marketing and athlete partnership processes, ensuring continual growth and effectiveness.

This role is in the Sports Marketing & Partnerships team and will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

ABOUT THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

6+ years of proven working experience in Sports Marketing.

Previous experience leading sports marketing and/or partnerships team.

Strong understanding of athlete management and partnerships.

Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.

Skilled with budget management.

Strong working knowledge of Asana is a BIG plus.

Is proactive and an independent problem solver.

WHAT YOU GET

Paycheck... obviously. Salary range: $145k - $165k,

final number dependent on experience.
