For more information, visit www.newsbreak.com/aboutAbout the roleWe are seeking a highly skilled and data-driven Video Content Operation Manager to join our team. With your deep understanding of the video content ecosystem and a systematic approach to content operations, you will be responsible for building our content ecosystem from a data-oriented and user-need-driven perspective, defining the content annotation taxonomy, and ensuring alignment with user growth, content recommendation and creator growth. News is a highlight of the product, so knowledge and experience of news content curation will be a big plus.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement a systematic content operation framework for our fast-growing short video platform.Define and manage the content annotation taxonomy to ensure it aligns with user needs for use in user growth, content recommendation and creator growth.Curate and moderate trending topics to keep our content relevant and engaging, especially topics that are news related.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, user growth, and creator growth, to ensure content strategies align with overall business goals.Monitor content performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to ensure our platform remains a leader in the short video space.Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field is preferred.Proven experience in content operations, preferably within the video content ecosystem.Strong understanding of data-driven content strategy and operations.Experience in defining and managing content annotation taxonomy.Knowledge of news content categorization and the ability to write journalism-level news copies.Ability to curate and moderate trending news topics effectively.Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Experience in recruiting and managing contractors for content operation tasks.Passion for the creator economy and understanding of various social platforms and their algorithms.We offer a competitive benefits package:Health, dental, and vision care for you and your familyTop-tier 401(K) plan with company matchingPaid time off and paid holidaysPaid parental leaveFSA and commuter benefits programsTeam activity budgetThe US base salary range for this full-time position is listed below.
