VP, Creator Strategy and ManagementJob Description:LOCATION

This role is also eligible for hire in the following locations: Remote - Los Angeles, CA; Remote-Austin, TX or in our San Francisco, CA or San Mateo, CA offices.Collective Voice is looking for a VP to run our Creator Management team. This role is critical to the business, driving our strategy vision in creator relations and overseeing teams that work with creators directly. This is a highly cross-functional role best suited to a dynamic leader that drives strategy and communicates with multiple disciplines on how we can best serve our creators’ needs.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESOversee structure and approach to recruiting and maintaining creator talent within the Collective Voice platform.

Understand intimately the creator lifecycle and where our team is best utilized to convert high potential and key creators to loyalists on the platform.

Manage a healthy pipeline of potential talent to work with and new opportunities for them.

Oversee key teams within the organization that interface with creators, including:

Creator Relations – the key contact for creators at Collective. Members of this team are assigned to managing creators' experience at Collective, ranging from “up and coming” to well-established and responsible for forming a relationship with them, helping them understand all that Collective Voice has to offer as well as how to maximize their revenue through affiliate and campaigns.

Creator Recruiting – this team is on the hunt for new creators to add to the network. They are in the know of all the latest names, have direct lines to agents and are often getting inside information on who has potential.

Develop, communicate, and iterate on best practices that will serve as the foundation for these growing teams.

Drive marketplace and competitive insights to identify and assess long-term growth opportunities.

Collaborate closely with General Manager on the overarching influencer strategy for Collective Voice.

Collaborate closely with our campaign execution team.

Ensure that our top creators (both managed and recruited) are well represented in our campaigns, from casting through to execution.

Represent the needs of creators within the Collective Voice organization at large.

Understand intimately what creators want and need in a platform (from affiliate to campaigns).

Create a clear vision of our approach to working with Creators – how we will recruit and retain creators on the platform.

Communicate the vision and needs of the creators across the organization, driving change where necessary.

Represent Collective Voice in the creator space.

Meet regularly with agents and agencies, key figures in creator marketing.

Appear regularly in spaces that creators often congregate to showcase Collective Voice, our tools, and benefits.

Speak to Collective Voice’s value externally through press, panels and other public speaking opportunities.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)Demonstrated leader, with experience overseeing teams and an ability to oversee unique departments.

Someone who has a positive team presence, possesses a get-it-done approach and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Experience in working with creators and their agents, negotiating with them and on their behalf, keeping our top influencers happy on the platform and representing CV at large.

Ability to use data to inform insights and business decisions.

Attention to detail and a respect for operations and process, as well as ability to problem solve cross-functionally while keeping the holistic needs of the business in mind.

Experience working with legal and financial teams and representing your team as a part of those operations.

Expertise on how the creator space is molding to the needs of advertisers, and anticipate how we can best serve them.

Excellence in communication – both internally and externally.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSBA required.

15 years experience in either creator or talent management.

8+ years experience managing, building and scaling teams.

A self-starter who possesses high energy and excellent presentation, creative, and analytical skills.

Detail-oriented with superior writing and verbal communication skills.

Able to simply and compellingly present complex strategies and proposals.

Manage multiple projects with tight deadlines; communicate effectively with a range of executives, department teams and clients.

Be willing to take risks to ensure creative thinking and the best outcomes possible.

Ability to travel based on business needs.

Individual compensation will vary based on job-related factors, including the skills, qualifications, and experience of the successful candidate as well as business need and geographic location.
