Position SummaryThe Marketing Associate reports to the Director of Enrollment & Strategic Communication and will serve as a key communicator, storyteller, marketer, and promoter of the institution with a goal of measurably increasing KPIs in the areas of school inquiries, website visits, and social media engagement. Their efforts will raise local awareness and excitement about High Meadows School through advertising, social media, video, and local relationship cultivation. Success in this position will require creativity, self-direction, motivation, detail management, and data-driven decision making. The Marketing Associate will have the ability and willingness to switch between day-to-day execution and big-picture vision.

Essential Job Functions:Promote, through advertising, social media, video content, and other marketing efforts, the programs, values, and market differentiators of High Meadows School.Create & activate a content calendar.Write, design, and create the school’s marketing content, including copy, video, photography, and image-creation for various platforms and publications.Track and utilize performance data (website, ads, SEO optimization, etc.) to inform and guide strategies and efforts.Manage and strategically utilize the school’s Marketing budget to increase KPIs.Contribute to and support production of marketing, admission, and development publications and collateral.Design and order school merchandise products; manage, organize storage and sale of products.Assist with the design and production of the School Magazine.Maintain a campus presence and relationships to take photos and gather stories/interviews for social media, newsletters, and blogs.Take and edit videos for social media, blogs, and publications.Plan and coordinate photography of all school events and subsequent sharing, posting, utilizing pictures for internal and external communications/publications.Perform other duties as assigned.

Desired Qualities and Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or related field.Professional experience in marketing, communications, and social media content, preferably at an educational institution.Exceptional writing skills required.Computer-based design and social media experience required.Experience in analyzing and responding to consumer personas through strategic marketing.Experience tracking and reporting marketing efforts and associated results.Photography and videography skills preferred.Intuitive relationship-building skills, personal flexibility, and a sense of humor a must.
